Sukta 1.48
ये चिद्धि त्वामृषयः पूर्व ऊतये जुहूरेऽवसे महि । सा नः स्तोमाँ अभि गृणीहि राधसोषः शुक्रेण शोचिषा ॥
yé ciddhí tvām ṛ́ṣayaḥ pū́rva ūtáye juhūré 'váse mahí | sā́ naḥ stómāṃ abhí gṛṇīhi rā́dhasóṣaḥ śukréṇa śóciṣā ||
Selbst die Seher der Vorzeit riefen dich um Hilfe und um deinen mächtigen Schutz an. So nimm unsere Lobgesänge an und bestätige sie, o Uṣas, du Spenderin der Gaben, mit deinem reinen, flammenden Glanz.
