मा वो घ्नन्तं मा शपन्तं प्रति वोचे देवयन्तम् । सुम्नैरिद्व आ विवासे ॥

Transliteration

mā́ vo ghnántaṁ mā́ śápantaṁ práti voce devayántaṁ | sumnáir íd va ā́ vivāse ||

Translation

Möge ich euch nicht mit einem tötenden Wort erwidern, noch mit einem verfluchenden; nach dem Göttlichen verlangend, will ich euch nur mit euren Gnaden und heilsamen Harmonien nahen.
