Transliteration
prá vo yáhvaṃ purūṇā́ṃ viśā́ṃ deva-yatī́nām | agníṃ sūktébhir vácobhir īmahe yáṃ sīm íd anyá īḷate ||
Translation
Zu euch tragen wir den mächtigen Agni voran — für die vielen Stämme, die nach dem Göttlichen verlangen. Agni rufen wir mit wohlgeflochtenen Hymnen und Worten an, ihn, den auch die anderen wahrlich verehren.
