Sukta 1.32
इन्द्रो यातोऽवसितस्य राजा शमस्य च शृङ्गिणो वज्रबाहुः । सेदु राजा क्षयति चर्षणीनामरान्न नेमिः परि ता बभूव ॥
índro yātó’vásitasya rājā śámasya ca śṛṅgíṇo vájrabāhuḥ | séd u rājā kṣayati carṣaṇīnā́m arā́n ná némih pári tā́ babhūva ||
Indra ist gekommen als König des gefestigten Grundes und des Friedens; gehörnt an Macht, den Vajra im Arm. Wahrlich, als König herrscht er über die Völker: wie der Felgenring die Speichen umschließt, so umgab er sie ringsum und hält die Ordnung der Bewegung zusammen.
