Transliteration
pū́rvya hotar asyá no mándasva sákhyaś ca | imā́ u ṣú śrudhī́ gíraḥ ||
Translation
O Hotṛ von alters her, erfreue dich an unserer Darbringung und an unserer Freundschaft; und höre doch diese Worte—diese Gedankenlieder, mit denen wir den Aufstieg gestalten.
