Transliteration
védā mā́só dhṛtá-vrato dvā́daśa prajā́vataḥ | védā yá upajā́yate ||
Translation
Die Monate kennt der Fest-im-Gelübde — die zwölf, reich an Nachkommenschaft; er kennt auch, was danach geboren wird — Varuṇa, der die Zeit und ihr Entfalten im Ordnungsgefüge der Wahrheit bemisst.
