आ वामश्वासः शुचयः पयस्पा वातरंहसो दिव्यासो अत्याः । मनोजुवो वृषणो वीतपृष्ठा एह स्वराजो अश्विना वहन्तु ॥
ā́ vām aśvā́saḥ śúcayaḥ payaspā́ vā́taraṃhaso divyā́so átyāḥ | manójavo vṛ́ṣaṇo vītápṛṣṭhā éha svārā́jo aśvinā vahantu ||
Herbei sollen eure Rosse kommen – rein, die nährende Essenz trinkend, windesschnell, göttliche Renner; vom Geist angetrieben, stark, mit rücken, die dem Joch wohl eingeübt sind. Sie sollen euch hierher bringen, o Aśvins, selbstherrliche Mächte, auf unser Opferfeld.
