Sukta 1.173
एवा हि ते शं सवना समुद्र आपो यत्त आसु मदन्ति देवीः । विश्वा ते अनु जोष्या भूद्गौः सूरीँश्चिद्यदि धिषा वेषि जनान् ॥
evā́ hí te śáṃ sávanā samudrá ā́po yát ta ā́sú mádanti devī́ḥ | víśvā te ánu jóṣyā bhūd gáuḥ sūrī́ṃś cid yádi dhiṣā́ véṣi jánān ||
So sind wahrlich deine Pressungen (savana) selig im Ozean, wenn die göttlichen Wasser in sich an dir sich erfreuen. Dann wird dir alles geneigt; auch die Kuh — der Strahl der Erleuchtung —, wenn du mit inspirierter Einsicht (dhiṣā) die Völker aufsuchst und leitest: selbst die lichtvollen Führer folgen dir.
