Sukta 1.165
अमन्दन्मा मरुतः स्तोमो अत्र यन्मे नरः श्रुत्यं ब्रह्म चक्र । इन्द्राय वृष्णे सुमखाय मह्यं सख्ये सखायस्तन्वे तनूभिः ॥
amándan mā marutaḥ stómó atrá yán me naraḥ śrútyaṁ bráhma cakrá | índrāya vṛ́ṣṇe súmakhāya máhyaṁ sákhye sakhāyas tanvé tanū́bhiḥ ||
Hier haben mich die Maruts mit dem Lobgesang erfreut, als ihr, o Helden, mir das hörenswerte Wort, das Brahman, bereitetet. Für Indra, den Stier, für den Schönantlitzigen, und für mich — Freunde in Freundschaft — kamt ihr mit euren Leibern zu meinem leibhaften Sein.
