बोधा मे अस्य वचसो यविष्ठ मंहिष्ठस्य प्रभृतस्य स्वधावः । पीयति त्वो अनु त्वो गृणाति वन्दारुस्ते तन्वं वन्दे अग्ने ॥
bódhā me asyá vácaso yaviṣṭha maṃhíṣṭhasya prá-bhṛtasya svadhāvaḥ | pī́yati tvo ánu tvo gṛṇāti vandā́rus te tánvaṃ vande agne ||
Werde wach für dieses mein Wort, o Jüngster, o aus eigener Kraft (svadhā́) Wirkender, aus der größten Fülle hervorgebracht. Dich trinkt der Verehrer, dir folgt er, dir nach singt er; vor deinem eigenen Leib verneige ich mich, o Agni.
