Sukta 1.146
उक्षा महाँ अभि ववक्ष एने अजरस्तस्थावितऊतिॠष्वः । उर्व्याः पदो नि दधाति सानौ रिहन्त्यूधो अरुषासो अस्य ॥
ukṣā́ mahā́ṃ abhí vavakṣe ené 'járas tasthāvi-tá-ūtī ṛ́ṣvaḥ | urvyā́ḥ padó ní dadhāti sā́nau rihánty ū́dho aruṣā́so asya ||
Der große Stier schwillt daran gewaltig an; alterslos steht er da, hoch, mit tragenden Kräften. Auf dem Gipfel setzt er den weiten Schritt; seine rötlichen Mächte lecken das Euter und ziehen die nährende Essenz hervor.
