वि यदस्थाद्यजतो वातचोदितो ह्वारो न वक्वा जरणा अनाकृतः । तस्य पत्मन्दक्षुषः कृष्णजंहसः शुचिजन्मनो रज आ व्यध्वनः ॥

Transliteration

ví yád ásthād yajató vā́ta-codito hvāró ná vakvā́ jaráṇā ánā́kṛtaḥ | tásya pátman dákṣuṣaḥ kṛṣṇá-jaṃhasaḥ śúci-janmano rája ā́ vyàdhvanaḥ ||

Translation

Wenn er hervortritt – verehrungswürdig, vom Atemwind (vāta) angetrieben – wie ein schneller Hengst, ein Sänger, nicht von Alter und Verfall gemacht, dann wird für jene Seherkraft, aus Reinheit geboren und doch mit Schritten durch das Dunkel, die feste Spur durch die Räume aufgetan.
