आदिद्धोतारं वृणते दिविष्टिषु भगमिव पपृचानास ऋञ्जते । देवान्यत्क्रत्वा मज्मना पुरुष्टुतो मर्तं शंसं विश्वधा वेति धायसे ॥

ād íd dhótāraṃ vṛṇate divíṣṭiṣu bhágam iva papṛcānā́sa ṛ́ñjate | devā́n yát kratvā́ majmánā puru-stutó mártaṃ śáṃsaṃ viśvádhā véti dhā́yase ||

Dann wählen sie den Hotar auf den hohen Sitzen und salben ihn, wie man Bhaga, den Zuteiler des Anteils, anruft. Wenn der Vielgepriesene, durch Krátu (Willenskraft) und Größe, unter den Göttern schreitet, trägt er das sterbliche Wort des Anrufs auf jede Weise, damit es sich festige.
