प्राता रत्नं प्रातरित्वा दधाति तं चिकित्वान्प्रतिगृह्या नि धत्ते । तेन प्रजां वर्धयमान आयू रायस्पोषेण सचते सुवीरः ॥

prātā́ rátnaṃ prātaritvā́ dadhāti táṃ cikitvā́n pratिगṛ́hyā ní dhatte | téna prajā́ṃ vardháyamāna ā́yū rāyás-póṣeṇa sacate su-vī́raḥ ||

Am Morgen legt der Morgenbringer (prātaritvā) das Kleinod rechten Gewinns nieder; der Einsichtige nimmt es entgegen und legt es in sich hinein. Dadurch mehrt er, die Nachkommenschaft und die Lebenskraft wachsen lassend, und er geht mit der nährenden Fülle der Rayi in Gemeinschaft mit heldischen Mächten.
