इक्ष्वाकोस्तु सुत श्रीमान्कुक्षिरेवेति विश्रुतः।कुक्षेरथात्मजो वीरो विकुक्षिरुदपद्यत।।।।
ikṣvākos tu sutaḥ śrīmān kukṣir eveti viśrutaḥ | kukṣer athātmajo vīro vikukṣir udapadyata ||
Ikṣvāku hatte einen ruhmreichen Sohn, bekannt unter dem Namen Kukṣi; und Kukṣi zeugte den Helden Vikukṣi.
Ikshvaku had an illustrious son, well-known as Kukshi and to Kukshi was born the heroic Vikukshi.
