Sukta 2
सोऽरिष्ट॒ न म॑रिष्यसि॒ न म॑रिष्यसि॒ मा बि॑भेः । न वै तत्र॑ म्रियन्ते॒ नो य॑न्त्यध॒मं तमः॑
só ’riṣṭáḥ ná mariṣyasi ná mariṣyasi mā́ bibhēḥ | ná vai tátra mriyánte nó yanty adhámam támaḥ
Unharmed art thou: thou shalt not die, thou shalt not die—fear not. Verily there men die not, nor go they down to the nethermost darkness.
Unversehrt bist du: du wirst nicht sterben, du wirst nicht sterben — fürchte dich nicht. Wahrlich, dort sterben die Menschen nicht, noch fahren sie hinab in die unterste Finsternis.
