Sukta 59

शाप-मोचनम्। यो नः॒ शपा॒दश॑पतः॒ शप॑तो॒ यश्च॑ नः॒ शपा॑त्। वृ॒क्ष इ॑व वि॒द्युता॑ ह॒त आ मूला॒दनु॑ शुष्यतु

śāpa-mocánam | yó naḥ śápād áśapataḥ śápato yáś ca naḥ śápāt | vṛ́kṣa iva vidyútā hatá ā mū́lād ánu śuṣyatu

Release from curse. Whoso, by cursing, hath cursed us—curser, or he who would undo the curse—whosoever by curse (hath touched) us: like a tree smitten by lightning, let him wither, down from the root, utterly away.

Lösung vom Fluch. Wer uns verflucht hat – der Fluchende, oder der, der den Fluch lösen will –, wer immer uns durch einen Fluch berührt hat: wie ein Baum, vom Blitz getroffen, soll er verdorren, von der Wurzel an, gänzlich.
