आहं खि॑दामि ते॒ मनो॑ राजा॒श्वः पृ॒ष्ट्यामि॑व । रे॒ष्मच्छि॑न्नं॒ यथा॒ तृणं॒ मयि॑ ते वेष्टतां॒ मनः॑
Ich bezwinge deinen Geist, wie man das königliche Ross unter dem straffen Rückengurt hält; wie geschnittenes Gras vom Zügel umwunden wird, so winde sich dein Geist um mich her.

आञ्ज॑नस्य म॒दुघ॑स्य॒ कुष्ठ॑स्य॒ नल॑दस्य च । तु॒रो भग॑स्य॒ हस्ता॑भ्यामनु॒रोध॑न॒मुद् भ॑रे
Aus Añjana, dem honigspendenden, aus Kuṣṭha und auch aus Nalada bringe ich mit beiden Händen den Siegeszauber hervor—rasch, Bhagas eigen—zur Fügsamkeit und Zustimmung.
