Sukta 25
र॒यिं मे॒ पोषं॑ सवि॒तोत वा॒युस्त॒नू दक्ष॒मा सु॑वतां सु॒शेव॑म्। अ॒य॒क्ष्मता॑तिं॒ मह॑ इ॒ह ध॑त्तं॒ तौ नो॑ मुञ्चत॒मंह॑सः
rayíṁ me póṣaṁ savitóta vāyús tanū́ dákṣam ā́ suvatāṁ suśévam | ayakṣ́matātiṁ máha ihá dhattáṁ táu no muñcatam áṁhasaḥ ||
Wealth for me, and thriving, let Savitar—and Vāyu also—impel; let them bring to the body kindly strength and competence. Set ye here great freedom from wasting-disease: do ye release us from distress.
Savitar — und auch Vāyu — mögen mir Reichtum und Gedeihen antreiben; dem Leib mögen sie gütige Kraft und tüchtige Befähigung verleihen. Setzt hier große Freiheit von Yakṣma, der zehrenden Krankheit; löst uns aus der Bedrängnis.
