śaténa mā́ pári pāhi sahásreṇā́bhí rakṣa mā | índras te vīrudhā́m pata ugrá ójmānam ā́ dadhat

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

With a hundredfold guard encompass me; with a thousandfold defend me from assault. Indra, the fierce, hath for thee—O lord of plants—set in place the might of strength.

Translation

Mit hundertfachem Schutz umgib mich; mit tausendfachem wehre den Angriff von mir ab. Indra, der Gewaltige, hat dir, o Herr der Pflanzen, die mächtige Kraft fest eingesetzt.
