या श॒शाप॒ शप॑नेन॒ याघं मूर॑माद॒धे। या रस॑स्य॒ हर॑णाय जा॒तमा॑रे॒भे तो॒कम॑त्तु॒ सा

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 4.17.3

yā́ śaśā́pa śápanena yā́ghaṃ mū́ram ādadhe | yā́ rásasya hárāṇāya jātámārebhe tókám attú sā́

She who hath cursed with cursing, who hath laid on evil and benumbing stupor; she who, to steal the vital sap, assaileth the child among the newly-born—let that woman be devoured (by her own bane).

Die, welche mit Verwünschung verflucht hat, die Unheil und betäubende Erstarrung auferlegt; die, um den Lebenssaft (rasa) zu rauben, das Kind unter den Neugeborenen anfällt — diese Frau möge (von ihrem eigenen Bann) verzehrt werden.
