श॒ङ्खेनामी॑वा॒मम॑तिं श॒ङ्खेनो॒त सदान्वाः॑ । श॒ङ्खो नो॑ वि॒श्वभे॑षजः॒ कृश॑नः पा॒त्वंह॑सः

IAST Transliteration

śaṅkhénámīvā́m amátiṁ śaṅkhénót sadānvā́ḥ | śaṅkhó no viśvá-bheṣajaḥ kṛ́śanaḥ pā́tv áṁhasaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

With the Conch we drive away disease, with the Conch also the folly and the ever-clinging evils. Let the Conch, the universal medicine, Kṛśana, protect us from distress.

Translation

Mit der Muschel (śaṅkha) vertreiben wir die Krankheit; mit der Muschel auch den Wahn und die stets anhaftenden Übel. Möge die Muschel, das Allheilmittel, Kṛśana, uns vor Not (aṃhas) behüten.
