उद्ध॑र्षन्तां मघव॒न् वाजि॑ना॒न्युद् वी॒राणां॒ जय॑तामेतु॒ घोषः॑ । पृथ॒ग् घोषा॑ उलु॒लयः॑ केतु॒मन्त॒ उदी॑रताम्। दे॒वा इन्द्र॑ज्येष्ठा म॒रुतो॑ यन्तु॒ सेन॑या
úd-dharṣantāṁ maghavan vā́jināny úd vīrā́ṇāṁ jáyatām etu ghóṣaḥ | pṛthág ghóṣā ululáyaḥ ketúmanta úd-ī́ratām | devā́ índra-jyeṣṭhā marúto yantu sénayā ||
Be roused, O Maghavan, the winning powers; let forth the shout of conquering heroes go. Let separate cries, the ululations bannered, be lifted up; let the Gods, Indra-chief, the Maruts, march along with the host.
Erhebt euch, o Maghavan, ihr siegbringenden Kräfte; der Ruf der siegenden Helden soll erschallen. Getrennte Rufe, die Ululationen, bannertragend, sollen aufsteigen; die Götter, Indra als Erster, die Maruts, mögen mit dem Heerzug ziehen.
