Sukta 2
यस्मि॑न् दे॒वा अमृ॑जत॒ यस्मि॑न् मनु॒ष्याऽ उ॒त। तस्मि॑न् घृत॒स्तावो॑ मृ॒ष्ट्वा त्वम॑ग्ने॒ दिवं॑ रुह
yásmin devā́ amṛ́jata yásmin manuṣyā́ utá | tásmin ghṛtástāvo mṛṣṭvā́ tvám agne dívam ruha ||
In which the Gods have cleansed them, in which men also cleanse—therein, when thou hast cleansed with the ghee-stream, O Agni, ascend unto heaven.
Dort, wo die Götter reinigen, wo auch die Menschen reinigen—dort, o Agni, nachdem du dich mit dem Strom des Ghee (ghṛta) gereinigt hast, steige zum Himmel empor.
