समि॑द्धो अग्न आहुत॒ स नो॒ माभ्यप॑क्रमीः । अत्रै॒व दी॑दिहि॒ द्यवि॒ ज्योक् च॒ सूर्यं॑ दृ॒शे
samíddho agna āhutá sá no mā́bhyàpákramīḥ | atráiva dī́dihi dyávi jyók ca sū́ryaṃ dṛśé ||
Kindled art thou, O Agni, and invoked with offering: from us depart not, withdraw not. Here verily blaze thou; in heaven shine long, and grant us sight of the Sun.
Entzündet bist du, o Agni, und mit Opfergabe angerufen: weiche nicht von uns, zieh dich nicht zurück. Gerade hier lodere wahrlich; am Himmel leuchte lange und gewähre uns den Anblick der Sonne.
