अहं पूर्वं तु कविना सृष्टः सर्वात्मना विभुः । प्रजाः सृजस्वेति तदा वाक्यमेतत् तथोक्तवान् ॥ २१.२७ ॥

পূর্বকালে আমি—সর্বব্যাপী প্রভু—কবি-ঋষির দ্বারা সম্পূর্ণভাবে সৃষ্ট হয়েছিলাম; তখন তিনি এই আদেশই বলেছিলেন— ‘প্রজাদের সৃষ্টি করো।’
