सप्त होत्राणि मनसा वृणाना इन्वन्तो विश्वं प्रति यन्नृतेन । नृपेशसो विदथेषु प्र जाता अभीमं यज्ञं वि चरन्त पूर्वीः ॥
saptá hotrā́ṇi mánasā vṛṇānā́ invánto víśvaṃ práti yánn ṛténa | nṛ-péśaso vidáthēṣu prá jātā́ abhī́mám yajñáṃ ví caranta pūrvī́ḥ ||
মন দিয়ে বেছে নিয়ে সপ্ত হোত্র (সপ্ত-হোত্র) ঋত অনুসারে চলতে চলতে সমগ্রকে সত্যের দিকে প্রেরণা দেয়। নৃপেশসঃ—মানবকে গড়ে তোলা শক্তিগণ—বিদথ (সভা)-সমূহে জন্ম নিয়ে, এই যজ্ঞের চারদিকে নানাভাবে বিচরণ করে—প্রাচীন শক্তিরূপে।
