माया वां मित्रावरुणा दिवि श्रिता सूर्यो ज्योतिश्चरति चित्रमायुधम् । तमभ्रेण वृष्ट्या गूहथो दिवि पर्जन्य द्रप्सा मधुमन्त ईरते ॥
māyā́ vāṃ mitrāvaruṇā diví śritā́ sū́ryo jyótiś carati citrám ā́yudham | tám abhreṇa vṛṣṭyā́ gūhatho diví párjanya drapsā́ mádhu-manta īrate ||
হে মিত্র-বৰুণ, তোমালোকৰ মায়া (সৃষ্টিশক্তি) দ্যুলোকত স্থাপিত; সূৰ্য জ্যোতিৰূপে চলে—এ এক বিচিত্ৰ আয়ুধ। তোমালোকেই দ্যুত ক্লাউড (অভ্ৰ) আৰু বৰষুণেৰে তাক আৱৰণ কৰ; তেতিয়া পৰ্জন্যৰ মধুমন্ত দ্ৰপ্সা উথলি উঠে, মধুৰতা বহন কৰি।
