Sukta 1.52
स हि द्वरो द्वरिषु वव्र ऊधनि चन्द्रबुध्नो मदवृद्धो मनीषिभिः । इन्द्रं तमह्वे स्वपस्यया धिया मंहिष्ठरातिं स हि पप्रिरन्धसः ॥
sá hí dvaró dvaríṣu vavrá ū́dhani candrábudhno mádavṛddho manīṣíbhīḥ | índraṃ tám ahve svapasyáyā dhiyā́ maṃhíṣṭharātiṃ sá hí paprír ándhasaḥ ||
কাৰণ তেওঁ দুৱাৰ-মুকলি কৰোঁতা; দুৱাৰ-মুখত তেওঁ আৱৰণ—উদৰত থকা ধন-দুগ্ধক ধৰি ৰাখে। চন্দ্ৰ-ভিত্তিসদৃশ, ঋষিসকলৰ মনীষাৰে জাগ্ৰত উল্লাসে বৃদ্ধি পোৱা। সেই ইন্দ্ৰক মই সুকৰ্ম-ইচ্ছা আৰু দীপ্ত ধিয়াৰে আহ্বান কৰোঁ—সৰ্বাধিক দানশীল; কিয়নো তেওঁ সোম-ৰস (অন্ধস)ৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ।
