यस्ते मदो युज्यश्चारुरस्ति येन वृत्राणि हर्यश्व हंसि । स त्वामिन्द्र प्रभूवसो ममत्तु ॥
Transliteration
yás te mádo yújyaś cā́rur ásti yéna vṛtrā́ṇi haryaśva háṃsi | sá tvām indra prabhūvaso mamattu ||
Translation
Niềm say sưa (madá) của Ngài—được thắng buộc đúng cách và mỹ lệ—nhờ đó, hỡi Đấng có tuấn mã hung vàng, Ngài đánh tan những kẻ che phủ (Vṛtra và bọn chúng). Hỡi Indra giàu quyền năng, xin chính niềm say ấy làm Ngài ngây ngất và tràn đầy.
