Sukta 7.10
मन्द्रं होतारमुशिजो यविष्ठमग्निं विश ईळते अध्वरेषु । स हि क्षपावाँ अभवद्रयीणामतन्द्रो दूतो यजथाय देवान् ॥
mandráṃ hotā́ram uśíjo yáviṣṭham agníṃ víśa īḷate adhvaréṣu | sá hí kṣapā́vām̐ abhavad rayīṇā́m atándro dūtó yájathāya devā́n ||
Các bộ tộc tôn thờ Agni trong các lễ tế (adhvara)—vị Hotṛ hoan hỷ, kẻ khát khao là Uśij, người trẻ nhất. Vì Ngài đã trở thành chủ của sự sung túc (rayīṇām) xuyên qua những đêm (kṣapā); một sứ giả không mệt mỏi cho việc tế tự (yajathāya) các thần.
