Sukta 5.29
सखा सख्ये अपचत्तूयमग्निरस्य क्रत्वा महिषा त्री शतानि । त्री साकमिन्द्रो मनुषः सरांसि सुतं पिबद्वृत्रहत्याय सोमम् ॥
sakhā sakhye apacat tūyam agnir asya kratvā mahiṣā trī śatāni | trī sākam indro manuṣaḥ sarāṃsi sutaṃ pibad vṛtra-hatyāya somam ||
Như bạn trong tình bạn, Agni mau lẹ đã dùng sức mạnh của ý chí mà nấu sửa cho người ấy ba trăm lễ vật hùng tráng. Và Indra, cùng với loài người, đã cùng giành được ba dòng nước; uống Soma đã ép, ngài tiến đến cuộc sát phạt Vṛtra—để giải phóng những dòng nước của hữu thể.
