Sukta 3.4
सप्त होत्राणि मनसा वृणाना इन्वन्तो विश्वं प्रति यन्नृतेन । नृपेशसो विदथेषु प्र जाता अभीमं यज्ञं वि चरन्त पूर्वीः ॥
saptá hotrā́ṇi mánasā vṛṇānā́ invánto víśvaṃ práti yánn ṛténa | nṛ-péśaso vidáthēṣu prá jātā́ abhī́mám yajñáṃ ví caranta pūrvī́ḥ ||
Bảy quyền năng tư tế (hotrāṇi), chọn lựa bằng tâm, khi tiến bước theo ṛta (trật tự chân chính của vũ trụ), thúc đẩy muôn loài hướng về Chân Thật. Là những bậc chủ của con người (nṛpeśasaḥ), sinh ra trong các hội chúng (vidatha), họ đi quanh lễ tế này theo nhiều lối, từ thuở xưa đã có.
