द्रवतां त उषसा वाजयन्ती अग्ने वातस्य पथ्याभिरच्छ । यत्सीमञ्जन्ति पूर्व्यं हविर्भिरा वन्धुरेव तस्थतुर्दुरोणे ॥

Transliteration

dráv atāṃ ta uṣásā vājáyantī agne vā́tasya pathyā́bhir áccha | yát sīm añjánti pū́rvyaṃ havírbhir ā́ vandhúreva tasthatúr duroṇé ||

Translation

Nguyện Uṣas (Bình minh) và quyền năng khơi dậy sinh lực mau đến với Ngài, hỡi Agni, theo những lối đi của vāta (hơi gió, sinh khí). Khi họ xức lên Ngài—Đấng cổ xưa—bằng các lễ vật, họ đứng vững trong nhà như những tuấn mã đã vào ách bên càng xe.
