गणानां त्वा गणपतिं हवामहे कविं कवीनामुपमश्रवस्तमम् । ज्येष्ठराजं ब्रह्मणां ब्रह्मणस्पत आ नः शृण्वन्नूतिभिः सीद सादनम् ॥

Transliteration

gaṇā́nāṃ tvā gaṇá-patiṃ havāmahe kavíṃ kavīnā́m upamá-śravas-tamam | jyeṣṭhá-rājaṃ bráhmaṇāṃ brahmaṇas-pate ā́ naḥ śṛṇván ūtí-bhiḥ sīda sā́danam ||

Translation

Chúng con khẩn thỉnh Ngài—Gaṇapati, Chúa tể các đoàn thể; bậc hiền triết giữa các hiền triết (kaví), danh tiếng vô song. Vị Vua tối thượng của các thần chú và brahman, hỡi Brahmaṇaspati, Chúa tể của tư tưởng kiến tạo. Xin lắng nghe chúng con; mang theo các sự trợ hộ (ūtí), và ngự tọa nơi chỗ ngồi (sádana) của chúng con—thánh điện nội tâm.
