Sukta 2.20
स वृत्रहेन्द्रः कृष्णयोनीः पुरंदरो दासीरैरयद्वि । अजनयन्मनवे क्षामपश्च सत्रा शंसं यजमानस्य तूतोत् ॥
sá vṛtra-héndraḥ kṛṣṇá-yonīḥ puram-daró dā́sīr airayad ví | ájanayan mánave kṣā́ma-paś ca satrā́ śáṃsaṃ yájamānasya tū́tot ||
Ngài—Indra, đấng sát Vṛtra, kẻ phá thành lũy, đấng lấy bóng tối làm thai—đã xua tan các thế lực Dāsī. Ngài lại làm phát sinh cho Manu ruộng đất và các dòng nước, và luôn thôi thúc lời tán tụng của người tế lễ vang lên không dứt.
