उतालब्धं स्पृणुहि जातवेद आलेभानादृष्टिभिर्यातुधानात् । अग्ने पूर्वो नि जहि शोशुचान आमादः क्ष्विङ्कास्तमदन्त्वेनीः ॥

utā́labdhaṃ spṛṇuhi jāta-veda ālebhānā́d ṛṣṭíbhir yātu-dhānā́t | agne pū́rvo ní jahi śóśucāna āmā́daḥ kṣvíṅkās tám adantv énīḥ ||

Kẻ đã bị bắt giữ—xin Ngài Jātavedas hãy cứu thoát người ấy khỏi yātudhāna kẻ đâm bằng lao. Hỡi Agni, Đấng bừng cháy đi trước, hãy đánh gục hắn; nguyện những kẻ tham ăn đồ sống, những sức lực cắn xé, hãy nuốt chửng kẻ ấy—những năng lực phóng vút mau lẹ.
