सोमं मन्यते पपिवान्यत्सम्पिंषन्त्योषधिम् । सोमं यं ब्रह्माणो विदुर्न तस्याश्नाति कश्चन ॥
Transliteration
sómaṁ manyate papivā́n yát sampiṁṣántyoṣádhim | sómaṁ yáṁ brahmā́ṇo vidúr ná tásyāśnāti káś caná ||
Translation
Khi người ta giã nát cây thuốc, kẻ ấy tưởng mình đã uống Soma. Nhưng Soma mà các bậc hiền triết của Lời—những brahmāṇaḥ—biết đến, thì không ai ăn được; hành vi bên ngoài không nắm bắt nổi, vì nó thuộc về tri kiến nội tâm.
