अती॑व॒ यो म॑रुतो॒ मन्य॑ते नो॒ ब्रह्म॑ वा॒ यो निन्दि॑षत् क्रि॒यमा॑णम्। तपूं॑षि॒ तस्मै॑ वृजि॒नानि॑ सन्तु ब्रह्म॒द्विषं॒ द्यौर॑भि॒संत॑पाति

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 2.12.6

atī́va yó maruto mányate no bráhma vā yó níndiṣat kriyámāṇam | tapū́ṃṣi tásmai vṛjinā́ni santu brahmadvíṣaṃ dyáur abhísantapāti ||

Whoso, O Maruts, beyond all measure deemeth ill of us, or whoso revileth the holy spell while it is being wrought,—for him let burnings and misfortunes be: Heaven on the hater of the Brahman shall scorch down fiercely.

Hỡi các Marut, kẻ nào quá mức mà nghĩ điều dữ về chúng ta, hoặc kẻ nào phỉ báng thần chú thánh (brahman) khi đang được tác thành—nguyện cho sự thiêu đốt và tai ương thuộc về hắn. Trời sẽ dữ dội thiêu rát kẻ thù ghét Brahman (brahma-dviṣ).
