स पुनानो मदिन्तमः सोमश्चमूषु सीदति । पशौ न रेत आदधत्पतिर्वचस्यते धियः ॥
sá punānó madíntamaḥ sómaś camū́ṣu sīdati | paśáu na réta ā́-dadhat pátir vacasyate dhíyaḥ ||
That Soma, being purified and most intoxicating in delight, settles into the bowls; like seed placed in the living creature, he is set within—master of the word, he makes the thoughts fruitful for utterance.
