Ang hymnong ito na may isang taludtod ay nananawagan kay Vāyu bilang mabilis na tagadala ng sakripisyo at ang buhay na kapangyarihan ng hininga kung saan nagkakaloob ang mga tali. Sa pamamagitan ng pagbilang ng mga handog (1, 2, 3, 10, 20, 30) inaayos nito ang rito sa tamang pagkakasunod-sunod at pagkakabuo, pagkatapos ay humihiling kay Vāyu na "bitawan dito" ang anumang mga hadlang na sumasaklaw sa nag-aalay. Ang pangunahing prinsipyo ay ang Ātman: ang panloob na sarili o hininga na nagpapatibok sa handog at nagpapakaya ng pagpapakawala.
It is used to remove binding obstacles and to ensure the offering/effort proceeds smoothly, by invoking Vāyu as the power that carries and unyokes.
