Procedure for the Son-Obtaining Vow
Kṛṣṇāṣṭamī Observance
ततो यवैः कृष्णतिलैः सघृतैर्होमयेद्दधि । ब्राह्मणान् भोजयेद् भक्त्या यथाशक्त्या सदक्षिणान् ॥ ६३.५ ॥
tato yavaiḥ kṛṣṇatilaiḥ saghṛtair homayed dadhi | brāhmaṇān bhojayed bhaktyā yathāśaktyā sadakṣiṇān || 63.5 ||
అనంతరం యవాలు, నల్ల నువ్వులు నెయ్యితో కలిపి, పెరుగుతో కూడ హోమం చేయవలెను. భక్తితో బ్రాహ్మణులకు భోజనం పెట్టి, తన శక్తి మేరకు దక్షిణ ఇవ్వవలెను.
