Kārtika Dvādaśī Observance
तमागतं मुनिं प्रेक्ष्य राजा परमधार्मिकः । अर्घपाद्यादिभिः पूज्य कृतासनपरिग्रहम् । उवाच हर्षितो राजा तमृषिं संहितव्रतम् ॥ ५०.२ ॥
tam āgataṃ muniṃ prekṣya rājā paramadhārmikaḥ | arghapādyādibhiḥ pūjya kṛtāsanaparigraham | uvāca harṣito rājā tam ṛṣiṃ saṃhitavratam || 50.2 ||
వచ్చిన మునిని చూసి పరమధార్మికుడైన రాజు అర్ఘ్యము, పాద్యము మొదలైనవాటితో పూజించి, ఆసనం సమర్పించి యథావిధి ఆతిథ్యంతో స్వీకరించాడు. ఆనందించిన రాజు, నియమబద్ధ వ్రతములు గల ఆ ఋషితో మాట్లాడాడు.
