Reconciliation of Action and Knowledge: Offering All Acts to Nārāyaṇa and the Hymn to the Yajña-Puruṣa
ātmā sa prakṛtisthaś ca bhūtānāṁ saṁśrayo bhavet | bhūya eṣā jagatsṛṣṭis tatraiva jagato bhavet || 5.34 ||
Varāha (default, as speaker not explicitly specified in fragment)
It reflects a Purāṇic synthesis of cosmological discourse using terminology associated with classical Indian metaphysics (notably Ātman and Prakṛti), illustrating how Purāṇas transmit philosophical vocabulary within narrative teaching contexts.
No geographic location is named in this verse; the content is primarily metaphysical/cosmological rather than topographical.
The verse does not present a direct ethical injunction; its philosophical instruction emphasizes the Self as the sustaining ground of beings and frames creation as a recurring emergence grounded in an underlying principle.
