Account of the Maṇija Kings and a Hymn to Govinda Leading to Liberation
jayasva govinda mahānubhāva jayasva viṣṇo jaya padmanābha | jayasva sarvajña jayāprameya jayasva viśveśvara viśvamūrte || 36.22 ||
Pṛthivī (default, as speaker is not explicit in the fragment)
It exemplifies the Purāṇic stuti style—formulaic praise using multiple epithets—to frame theological discourse within the Varāha Purāṇa’s narrative setting and to signal the authority of the addressed deity in the surrounding dialogue.
No geographic toponym is present in this verse; it functions as a hymn of praise rather than a sacred-geography marker.
The verse conveys a philosophical instruction of reverential recognition—affirming qualities such as omniscience (sarvajña) and immeasurability (aprameya)—rather than a direct prescriptive ethical rule.
