तृतीयां वा चतुर्थीं वा तदा स पुरुषोऽधमः ॥ सर्वस्यैव तु लोकस्य समयोऽयं हि मत्कृतः ॥
tṛtīyāṃ vā caturthīṃ vā tadā sa puruṣo'dhamaḥ || sarvasyaiva tu lokasya samayo'yaṃ hi matkṛtaḥ ||
అతడు మూడవ లేదా నాలుగవ (రోజు) వెళితే, ఆ పురుషుడు అధముడిగా భావించబడతాడు. ఎందుకంటే సమస్త లోకానికి ఈ ‘సమయ’ (మర్యాద/ఆచారం) నాచేతనే స్థాపించబడింది.
