धरण्युवाच ॥ दास्यां मे प्रणयं कृत्वा विज्ञाप्यं शृणु माधव ॥ मृदुना च स्वभावेन वक्ष्यामि त्वां जनार्दन ॥

ధరణి పలికింది—హే మాధవా! నా దాస్యభావం, ప్రణయాన్ని స్వీకరించి నేను వినపముచేసేది వినుము. హే జనార్దనా! మృదుస్వభావంతో నేను నీతో పలుకుదును.
