गुडधेनुमाहात्म्यम् होतॊवाच— गुडधेनुं प्रवक्ष्यामि सर्वकामार्थसाधिनीम् । अनुलिप्ते महीपृष्ठे कृष्णाजिनकुशास्तृते ॥ १०२-१ ॥ तस्योपरिकृतं वस्त्रं गुडमानिय पुष्कलम् । कृत्वा गुडमयीं धेनुं सवसाङ्कास्यदेहिनीम् ॥
guḍadhenu-māhātmyam hotovāca— guḍadhenuṁ pravakṣyāmi sarvakāmārthasādhinīm | anulipte mahīpṛṣṭhe kṛṣṇājinakuśāstṛte || 102-1 || tasyoparikṛtaṁ vastraṁ guḍam ānīya puṣkalam | kṛtvā guḍamayīṁ dhenuṁ savasāṅkāsyadehinīm ||
హోతృడు పలికెను—సర్వకామార్థసాధినియైన ‘గుడధేను’ను నేను వివరిస్తాను. లేపన చేసిన నేలపై కృష్ణాజినము మరియు కుశగడ్డి పరచి, దాని మీద వస్త్రము ఉంచాలి; తరువాత విస్తారమైన బెల్లం తెచ్చి, అంగోపాంగాలతో కూడిన దేహరూపముగల బెల్లమయి ధేనువును నిర్మించాలి.
