श्रीवराह उवाच । एवं सृष्ट्वा जगत्सर्वं भगवान् लोकभावनः । विरराम ततः सृष्टिर्व्यवर्धत धरे तदा ॥ १०.१ ॥

శ్రీ వరాహుడు పలికెను—ఇలా సమస్త జగత్తును సృష్టించి, లోకాలను పోషించి నిలుపువాడు అయిన భగవంతుడు అప్పుడు విరమించాడు. ఆ తరువాత, ఓ ధరా, ఆ సమయంలో సృష్టి విస్తరించసాగింది.
