Skanda Upanishad: Verse 5
स एव हि ज्योतिषां ज्योतिः स एव परमेश्वरः । स एव हि परं ब्रह्म तद्ब्रह्माहं न संशयः ॥५॥
सः एव हि ज्योतिषाम् ज्योतिः सः एव परम-ईश्वरः । सः एव हि परम् ब्रह्म तत् ब्रह्म अहम् न संशयः ॥५॥
sa eva hi jyotiṣāṃ jyotiḥ sa eva parameśvaraḥ | sa eva hi paraṃ brahma tad brahmāhaṃ na saṃśayaḥ ||5||
ఆయనే జ్యోతులలో జ్యోతి; ఆయనే పరమేశ్వరుడు. ఆయనే పరబ్రహ్మ; ఆ బ్రహ్మనే నేను—సంశయం లేదు.
He alone indeed is the light of lights; he alone is the Supreme Lord. He alone indeed is the supreme Brahman; that Brahman am I—no doubt (of it).
- अन्वयतः ‘tad brahmāham’ → tat brahma + aham (स्वर-सन्धि: अ + अ → आ; लिखितरूपे ‘brahmāham’)।
